A look at some 2024 UConn men’s basketball recruiting goals playing at Peach Jam – CT Insider | WHs Answers

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC — The UConn men’s basketball team’s 2022 recruiting class is on hold (unless a surprisingly late recruit arrives next month), and staff are busily working on an already strong 2023 class.

But in the world of college basketball recruitment, coaches have to look at least a few years ahead. With that in mind, the UConn staff is also focused on potential recruits for 2024.

Some of the Staff’s top targets, all from the New York, New Jersey area, are playing at the Nike Peach Jam this week.

Johnuel “Boogie” Fland is a five-star point guard who plays at New York’s Archbishop Stepinac High and on the PSA Cardinals 16U AAU team. Tahaad Pettiford, a four-star point guard from Jersey City, NJ who plays at Hudson Catholic, and Youssouf Singare’, a 7-footer at Upper Room Christian School in New York, both play in the EYBL roster of New Heights Lightning.
