Lake Travis Companies Offer Zipline Tours and Floating Obstacle Courses – | WHs Answers

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) – There’s no shortage of fun at Lake Travis, whether you’re boating, swimming, fishing or just enjoying the entertainment on the shore. Two companies offer unique adventures for families looking for something different: Lake Travis Zipline Adventures and Lake Travis Waterloo Adventures.

Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, Austin’s only zipline company, offers a three-hour five-zipline tour. Admission is $135 and includes equipment, transportation, and all-day access to the company’s lakefront property. Reservation is required and the company has promo codes.

Participants must weigh between 70 and 250 pounds and be able to hike at least a mile. Persons with chronic heart conditions, recent surgery, or pregnancy cannot use the zip line, per company policy.

Once a month, the company offers what it sounds like “night flight”: ziplining at night decked out with a headlamp and glow sticks. Groups can also book events.

Zipline Adventures is located at 14529 Pocohontas Trail in Volente and its season runs from March 1st to November 30th.

Across the lake, Lake Travis Waterloo Adventures operates a floating obstacle course:
