Swimming competitions: 11 participants today – runnersworld.com | WHs Answers

A perfect cross-training activity for runners, swimming provides a zero-impact, full-body workout. But if you’re getting bored of doing the same lengths week after week during your swim sessions, it might be time to challenge yourself. Registering for an event — whether it’s an open water swim event or a pool challenge — encourages you to venture out of your comfort zone and can add a competitive element that makes those in-water workouts feel all the more interesting and relevant. While half the year may be over, there are still plenty of swim events to attend for the remainder of 2022.

So what are you waiting for? When you feel like trading your running shoes for a swim cap, it’s time to dive into your next swim event…
